Raptors could rest starters Tuesday or Wednesday
According to TSN Sports' Josh Lewenberg, Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said he could see resting some guys during Tuesday and Wednesday's back-to-back games.
By the end of Wednesday night, the Raptors will have played 10 games in the matter of 16 days. It would make sense for them to a rest a player or two as they own a five-game advantage for the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Among the usual guys, DeMar DeRozan, Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas would be the most likely candidates to sit with Kyle Lowry resting last week and OG Anunoby returning recently from injury.
The Raptors rank second in our power rankings with a 73.0 nERD. They are a lock for the playoffs and own the second-best chances (24.4%) of winning the title, according to our numbers.
