Cavs' Tristan Thompson (ankle) out for at least 2 weeks
Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson (ankle) will miss the next two weeks with a sprained ankle.
Head coach Tyronn Lue provided a bit more clarity after it was announced on Sunday the big man would miss "multiple games." The two-week timetable would put Thompson back in action on March 19, at the earliest, with the center missing seven games. Larry Nance will hold down the fort at center with Thompson and Kevin Love out of action until mid-to-late-March as well.
Thompson had averaged 6.9 points and 7.3 rebounds in 24.1 minutes per game during his 21 starts this season.
