Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard says his ankle issue is 'minor'
Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard said that his left ankle sprain is "minor", but he admitted that he needs to do a better job of staying off the floor.
Lillard could potentially be held out of a preseason game, but he sounds like he's good to go. This injury should not alter his fantasy outlook.
Lillard is coming off of a superb season in which he finished 13th in nERD at 8.3. His Offensive Rating dipped slightly to 112 from his mark in 2013-14, but he made up for it in volume with a 26.9 Usage Rate. Lillard has played all 82 games in each of his first three seasons, so durability isn't a concern. The floor is high with Lillard entering the year, even if he does see a dip in efficiency.
