Orlando's Terrence Ross (knee) suffered setback but 'close' to return

Per John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com, Orlando Magic guard/forward Terrence Ross recently suffered a setback, but he is now "close" to making a return to the team.

What It Means:

Ross has been doing light running, but other than that there hasn't been many updates. He suffered a sprained right knee and a non-displace fracture of his right tibial plateau back on November 29th. When he's back, Jonathon Simmons could see more games under 30 minutes, with Shelvin Mack sliding to more of a strict backup role at the point.

Over a projected 27.4 minutes a game, we have Ross down for 10.3 points per game the rest of the season.
