Pistons' Reggie Jackson (ankle) still without timetable for return
Detroit Pistons guard Reggie Jackson (ankle) is "starting to do some light basketball work, but there's still no timetable for his return," head coach Stan Van Gundy said.
Jackson was initially given a 6-8 week timetable to recover, which created some hope that he would return after the All-Star break, but now it looks like the veteran guard won't be back anytime before March. In the meantime, Ish Smith will continue working with the Pistons' first unit while Jameer Nelson backs him up.
Jackson averaged 25.8 FanDuel points in 33 games before going down. Once he returns, numberFire's models project him to record 14.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.4 3-pointers per game.
