Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins goes off for a historic 44-point triple-double on Monday

New Orleans Pelicans center DeMarcus Cousins dropped 44 points with 24 rebounds and 10 assists in Monday's double-overtime win over the Chicago Bulls.

What It Means:

Cousins became the first player since Wilt Chamberlain, over 50 years ago, to record a 40/20/20 game. The big man set season-highs in points and rebounds as he recorded his second triple-double of the season. Cousins added 1 block, 4 steals, and 5 three-pointers in 53 minutes in perhaps the greatest game by any NBA player this season.

Cousins nearly single-handedly won DFs contests for those who played him as he dropped a massive 97.8 FanDuel points for 8.5x value even while costing $11,500 on Monday.
