Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was voted in as a starter for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.
Embbid narrowly edged out Kristaps Porzingis for the final frontcourt spot in the Eastern Conference and will make his first career All-Star Game appearance. The big man ranks in the top-10 in rebounds (10.8) and blocks (1.9) per game while leading the Sixers in scoring (23.8).
Embiid currently owns a 2.2 nERD rating, ranking him 51st out of the 486 NBA players this season.
