Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins voted an All-Star starter for the first time

New Orleans Pelicans center DeMarcus Cousins was voted in as a starter for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

What It Means:

Cousins will be playing in his fourth consecutive All-Star Game but his first as a starter. The big man has his fellow players to thank as the fans and media voted for Draymond Green and LaMarcus Alrdige over Cousins while the players voted in Boogie.

Cousins ranks in the top-10 of the NBA in points (25.2), rebounds (12.7), and blocks (1.6) per game. His 1.9 nERD rating has him ranked 58th out of 483 NBA players this season.
