Klay Thompson stays hot from field as Warriors defeat Pelicans
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Klay Thompson made 8-of-13 field goals (4-of-5 3-pointers) and 2-of-3 free throws for 22 points on Monday against the New Orleans Pelicans in a 125-115 victory.
Thompson also added 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. He's been absolutely scorching in December, with 27-of-42 field goals (64.3 percent) and 9-of-16 3-pointers (56.3 percent) over the past three games. With Stephen Curry now sidelined with an ankle injury, Thompson may be asked to do more on offense until the two-time MVP returns. The Warriors have a road date with the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.
Klay finished with 30.1 FanDuel points on Monday, and he's averaging 32.2 FanDuel points per game this season.
