Clippers' Blake Griffin (knee) expected to be sidelined for 'a while'

Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin has suffered a sprained MCL and is expected to be "out a while" per NBA.com's David Aldridge.

What It Means:

Aldridge did add that the Clippers are "relieved it wasn't worse", so it's not all negative for Griffin. Look for Montrezl Harrell and possibly Sam Dekker to see increased playing time in Griffin's absence.

numberFire's models project Griffin for 23.0 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game over the remainder of the season.
