Cavaliers' Iman Shumpert (knee) to miss 5-7 days

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert will miss 5-to-7 days as he undergoes treatment and rehabilitation for a left knee effusion.

What It Means:

During last night's game, Shumpert experienced soreness in his left knee. He did not return following halftime as additional tests confirmed the fluid-related issue. His status will be updated as he goes through his rehab process. As for his replacements, Dwyane Wade and Kyle Korver will likely see more minutes and starts with Derrick Rose (ankle) out two more weeks.

With Rose out, Shumpert has been getting the start and playing 26 minutes per game in 6 starts. He is averaging 12.1 FanDuel points a game and is projected to play 801 minutes over the remainder of the season.
