Hawks' Isaiah Taylor (eye) to be out 1-2 weeks with retinal tear
Atlanta Hawks point guard Isaiah Taylor has been diagnosed with a retina tear and will be out 1-to-weeks, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Michael Cunningham.
Taylor was poked in the eye on Friday in practice. For the backup point guard, it's a rough break, but while he's out Malcolm Delaney will be the Hawks' sole backup point guard unless they pull up Josh Magette. Either way there's a chance that Dennis Schroder also plays a few more minutes per game.
Over 13 games, Taylor has averaged 6.2 points, 2.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds across 16.1 minutes per game.
