Wesley Johnson

Clippers' Wesley Johnson accumulates full line in losing effort

Los Angeles Clippers forward Wesley Johnson scored a season-high 15 points and added seven boards, four assists, three steals and four blocks in a narrow overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.

What It Means:

Johnson's never been much of an explosive scorer or across-the-board contributor, but facing LeBron James and the Cavs he was a whole new man. In more than 42 minutes, he was 6-of-10 from the floor with a trio of threes. It's unfortunate that it wasn't enough to pull out the win in Cleveland.

Our models had Johnson projected for 18 FanDuel points, but, at his $3,800 price, he went far beyond that to provide 50.4 FD points and more than 13x value. He'll have to turn around and face the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. Our models expect him to return to Earth with a projected 22 FanDuel points.
