Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns posts big double-double as he celebrates 22nd birthday
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns totaled 26 points and 16 rebounds in Wednesday night's 98-86 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
After counting up his 11th double-double of the season, it's crazy to think that Towns is just now 22 years old. He continues to produce at a high level. Not only did he go 9-of-16 with one three-pointer, but he also added two helpers, a steal and a block in less than 35 minutes.
At a cost of $9,600, Towns and his 46.8 FanDuel points fell short of 5x value. Nevertheless, he exceeded his expected output of 45.4 FD points while playing his way to a third straight 40-FD-point game. Our models project him for four straight in Friday's matchup with the Dallas Mavericks.
