Spurs recall Tony Parker from the G-League
According to an official press release, the San Antonio Spurs have recalled point guard Tony Parker from their G-League affiliate Austin Spurs.
It's unclear how long it will be until Parker returns to NBA action because the team notes that he continues his rehabilitation from left quadriceps tendon surgery. At that, Austin has yet to begin the season so this appears to be a paper move of sorts. When Parker officially returns from his rehab, look for him to come off the bench before he eventually replaces Dejounte Murray as the team's starter.
numberFire's models project Parker to average 10.5 points and 4.3 assists in 26.2 minutes per game and 40 total games the rest of the season.
