Hawks' Dennis Schroder leaves early with an ankle injury
Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder exited in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss with an ankle injury.
Schroder was in obvious pain after stepping on Rondae Hollis-Jefferson's foot and was helped back to the locker room. The injury looks like it will cost the point guard multiple games, so stay tuned for more details after the Hawks further examine the ailment. Malcolm Delaney would likely take over the starting point guard job if Schroder missed a game or more.
Schroder was struggling with his jumper on Sunday before exiting, sinking 5-of-22 shots for 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 assists in 31 minutes for 37.8 FanDuel points.
