Spurs' Kawhi Leonard (quad) not expected to play on Saturday
San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard isn't expected to play on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls.
According to the San Antonio Express-News' Jeff McDonald, Leonard did travel with the team to Chicago, however, he's out again with a nagging quad injury. Leonard hasn't played yet and there have been some negative reports about his status. Recently, a video has surfaced of him reportedly struggling to board a flight to Chicago. The video has yet to be confirmed but if it's true there can't be too much optimism about Leonard's status for the near future. Kyle Anderson should continue as the team's starting small forward as LaMarcus Aldridge serves as the team's top offensive option.
Prior to being ruled out, Leonard was projected for 23.4 points and 39.8 FanDuel points in 32.9 minutes Saturday night. We project him to play 74 games and 2,488 minutes in the 2017-18 season.
