Blake Griffin tallies 29 points in Clippers' season-opening win

Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin scored 29 points, on 12-of-23 shooting, in a 108-92 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

What It Means:

On Thursday, the Griffin-led era got kicked off in Los Angeles -- and it did so with a bang. Over 34 minutes, Griffin spent time at both power forward and center spots while adding 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals. He even went 3-for-6 on three-balls in the blowout win.

Griffin's big production amounted to 49.9 FanDuel points, or 7.2 more than his projection of 42.7. He will look to replicate that performance on Saturday, when his Clippers battle the Phoenix Suns. In that one, our models like Griffin to turn out 44.5 FanDuel points in 33.8 minutes.
