Toronto Raptors guard/forward Norman Powell is starting at small forward in the 2017-18 season opener on Thursday.
What It Means:
Powell will be the 14th different starting small forward in the last 15 years for Toronto as he beat out C.J. Miles for the honors. The 24-year-old started 17 games last season, primarily at the two-guard spot. Powell did spend 21% of his time at small forward in his second NBA season though.
