Kemba Walker drops 24 points in Hornets' opening night loss
Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker scored 24 points on 6-for-13 shooting from the field while hitting 11-of-13 free throws in Wednesday's loss to the Detroit Pistons.
Walker's 24 points were a team-high as he posted a 30.0% usage percentage. He added 4 assists, which could have been higher but his teammates shot just 38.3% on the night. Walker will be in position for a better night against the Atlanta Hawks who posted a 108.3 defensive rating on Wednesday.
Walker finished with 33.2 FanDuel points against the Pistons. He is projected for an even better night on Friday with 41.6 fantasy points against the Hawks.
