DeMarcus Cousins swats seven in Pelicans' loss

New Orleans Pelicans center DeMarcus Cousins totaled 28 points, 10 rebounds and 7 blocks in his team's 103-91 defeat at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies.

What It Means:

While playing 38 minutes in Wednesday's road game in Memphis, Cousins came out extremely aggressive on both ends of the floor. He had 20 points, nine rebounds, five blocks and three triples in the first half alone. Boogie cooled off in the second half, but all in all he was dominant in his first regular season matchup.

Cousins' 60 FanDuel points far surpassed his projection of 42.8 and provided 5.88x value for those that rostered him. After one night off, he and the Pelicans will play the Golden State Warriors on Friday. Cousins is projected for 48.5 FanDuel points in the contest.
