Clippers to use Blake Griffin at center more this season

Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers said that he wants to use power forward Blake Griffin at the center spot "a lot" in 2017-18, according to Rotoworld's Mike Gallagher.

What It Means:

If and when the Clippers go to a smallball lineup with Griffin, that would likely involve Danilo Gallinari at the four and DeAndre Jordan sitting, particularly at the end of games. Griffin would no doubt see an increase in usage, assists and minutes under Rivers' new strategy.

In his first game of the year on Thursday, we project Griffin for 23.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists for a total of 43.6 FanDuel points against the Los Angeles Lakers.
