Jeff Teague 'going to push the ball' for Minnesota

In talking to the Star Tribune about his playing style, Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague stated, "I'm going to push the ball, that's what I do."

What It Means:

Both Teague and fellow addition Jamal Crawford talked about coach Tom Thibodeau's emphasis on pushing the ball up and down the floor this season. Teague admitted that the team has to get its stops on the other end, but went on to say, "That's how we need to play. The more shots we can get, the better."

After averaging 15.3 points and 7.8 assists a year ago, our models expect Teague to average 13.4 points, 6.7 assists in his first year with the Timberwolves. For tomorrow's season opener, we have him for 15.3 points, 6.8 assists and 33.1 FanDuel points while running $7,300.
