Wizards' John Wall has high expectations for this season
Washington Wizards point guard John Wall wants to be considered for the NBA MVP Award in 2017 per ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
Wall told Windhorst that he feels like he "is the best point guard in the Eastern Conference" and that he wants "to be in the in MVP conversation" this season. He finished seventh in the MVP voting last season, which was two spots behind fellow Eastern Conference point guard Isaiah Thomas.
numberFire's models project Wall to lead the NBA with 10.6 assists per game, while averaging 24.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.2 3-pointers per game, while shooting 44.2% from the field and 32.7% from downtown.
