Pistons' Stan Van Gundy: Andre Drummond's confidence is really high
Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy has been impressed with center Andre Drummond's maturity and confidence this offseason, and Van Gundy thinks his center is having an easier time breathing.
Drummond had surgery to repair a deviated septum in the offseason, and he said it has really helped his breathing and sleeping. Drummond's offensive production took a noticeable dip last season, but if his wind is better in 2017-18, the Pistons' big man could be in for a big rebound season.
Our models project Drummond to average 13.8 points, 14.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks over 31.9 minutes per game this season.
