Dwyane Wade signs one-year, $2.3M deal with Cleveland
Former Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade has agreed to a one-year, $2.3 million deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, per Shams Charania of The Vertical.
Wade gave up $8 million in salary in his buyout from the Bulls but still will get $15.3 million from Chicago this season enabling him to take less money to reunite with his buddy LeBron James. The 35-year-old guard will try to prove he still has something left in the tank as he goes from the woeful Bulls to a title contender in the Cavs.
Wade averaged 18.3 points, 45 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.4 steals in 29.9 minutes per game last season with Chicago.
