Oklahoma City's Enes Kanter heading to the Knicks in Melo deal

The New York Knicks have acquired center Enes Kanter as part of a deal that sent Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder, per Arian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

What It Means:

The Knicks also acquired Doug McDermott and an undisclosed draft pick in the deal, which Anthony has waived his no-trade clause for and is expected to be made official on Monday.

Kanter had a strong 2016-17 season, averaging 14.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in only 21.3 minutes per game. His 5.9 nERD was tied for 33rd in the NBA.
