Knicks sign Michael Beasley to one-year deal
The New York Knicks have signed forward Michael Beasley to a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum, according to ESPN's Ian Begley.
Beasley was the second overall pick in the 2008 draft, but has jumped around with five different teams since. He figures to spend some time at the three and four spots as he projects for a bench role in New York.
Last year, with the Milwaukee Bucks, Beasley averaged 9.4 points (on 53.2% shooting) in 16.7 minutes per game. His -0.2 nERD was seventh on the team and ranked 129th of 275 forwards in our database.
