Andrew Wiggins working on a five-year extension with Minnesota
The Minnesota Timberwolves are working on a five-year contract extension for guard/forward Andrew Wiggins, per Minnesota's president of basketball operations Tom Thibodeau.
The extension would start in the 2018-2019 season, meaning Wiggins would be under contract for the next six seasons, and would be worth almost $148 million.
Wiggins averaged a career-high 23.6 points to go with 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game last season. His -4.1 ranked only 451st in the NBA.
