Pelicans' Jrue Holiday drawing interest from Nuggets and Mavericks
New Orleans Pelicans unrestricted free agent Jrue Holiday is expected to "draw interest" from the Denver Nuggets in free agency, according to Sean Deveney of the Sporting News.
The Nuggets are expected to be aggressive in free agency and president Tim Connelly said the team should be an attractive option. Holiday is also expected to get interest from the Dallas Mavericks, and possibly even a dark horse team or two emerges. The Pelicans are a little strapped on cap space, so it could be tough for them to bring Holiday back if another team offers a massive contract.
Holiday's -1.9 nERD was the 349th-ranked total among the 486 qualifying NBA players in 2017.
