Paul Millsap to meet with Suns
Atlanta Hawks forward/center Paul Millsap will meet with the Phoenix Suns after the NBA free agency moratorium period begins Saturday, according to John Gambadoro of 98.7 Arizona Sports.
What It Means:
The Suns are also expected to meet with Blake Griffin, formerly of the Los Angeles Clippers, on Saturday, so they are clearly on the hunt for some free agent forwards. Millsap is 32 years old, which could deter the Hawks from offering a five-year max deal. If they balk at the price, though, that would take away one of their biggest advantages in negotiations.
Millsap's 3.5 nERD was the 63rd-most among 486 qualifying players in the league this season.
