Jazz interested in Timberwolves' Ricky Rubio
The Utah Jazz are interested in acquiring Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
What It Means:
After acquiring Jimmy Butler on draft night, it looked like Minnesota would hold on to Rubio. But recent reports suggest that Rubio is back on the block with the Wolves are in search of outside of shooting.
Rubio's 0.9 nERD in 2016-17 positioned him 11th among Western Conference floor generals. He averaged 11.1 points, 9.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 32.9 minutes a game.
