This is the first word that Anthony is considering leaving the Knicks, as all previous reports have indicated he would like to remain in New York. The front office also hasn't seemed very interested in the idea of buying Melo out of his contract. However, if the two sides do work out some sort of agreement, the Cleveland Cavaliers would be an early frontrunner to land him.

Anthony averaged 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.0 3-pointers in 34.3 minutes per game this season.
