Houston's Eric Gordon wins Sixth Man of the Year
Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon was named the 2017 Sixth Man of the Year, becoming the first Rockets player to win the award.
The voting in this one was surprisingly close with Andre Iguodala coming within 32 points of winning the award. However, Gordon was the favorite almost the entire season and he collected 46 first place votes in his first season in Houston, compared to 43 for Iguodala.
Gordon averaged 16.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 31.0 minutes per game. He posted a .527 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of -1.8 ranked him 357th in the league.
