Paul Millsap might not get max deal from Hawks

Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap might not receive a max offer from Atlanta.

What It Means:

Atlanta general manager Travis Schlenk shied away from saying that the Hawks would offer the unrestricted free agent a max contract this summer. He only admitted that they would make him their best offer. Millsap is eligible for a max contract of five years, $205 million with the Hawks but just four years and $152 million if he were to sign elsewhere in free agency.

Millsap's 3.5 nERD ranked 63rd among all players this season.
