Cleveland's LeBron James dominates, locks up seventh straight NBA Finals berth
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James went off for 35 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals and 1 block on Thursday as the Cavs scored a 135-102 blowout win over the Boston Celtics, advancing to the NBA Finals.
This will make the seventh consecutive finals with a LeBron-led team representing the Eastern Conference -- tying LeBron (and teammate James Jones) for the sixth-longest streak of all time, behind five members of the 1960's Celtics. This game also saw him pass Michael Jordan for the most career playoff points of all-time with 5,995. LeBron has averaged 32.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game in the 2017 postseason.
James finished Thursday's series-clinching Game 5 with a huge 68.7 nERD, per numberFire Live.
