MRI confirms partially torn patella for Spurs' David Lee
An MRI confirmed a partially torn patella for San Antonio Spurs forward/center David Lee, according to his agent, Mark Bartelstein.
What It Means:
Lee hasn't decided which recovery route to go, either surgery or rest and rehabilitation. Either way, the veteran's season -- and possibly Spurs' career -- is over. Pau Gasol and Davis Bertans will get extended minutes in Game 4 on Monday.
Lee was averaging 4.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in 16.3 minutes per game this postseason.
