Marcus Smart will start for Boston in Game 3
Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart will draw the start at point guard in Game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With Isaiah Thomas out for the rest of the playoffs, the Celtics will need the former 6th overall pick to step up in a big way. The Celtics are 17-point underdogs in this one from Cleveland, so Smart will need to be better than his 34.6% shooting from the field in the playoffs if he wants to make up for the loss of Thomas.
Our models project Smart for 12.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.9 steals over 36.5 minutes in Game 3.
