Celtics' Isaiah Thomas (hip) has been playing through injury, may miss Game 3
Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas (right hip strain) has been playing through injury since the last series and his injury is "considered significant," according to Chris Mannix of The Vertical.
Thomas will be re-evaluated Saturday and may be forced to miss Game 3 on Sunday. He hasn't quite looked right in some time, and had to sit out the entire second half on Friday night. If IT is out, Marcus Smart will get some heavy run while Terry Rozier would also have to step up.
Per numberFire Live, Thomas was atrocious last night, with -28.45 nERD in 18 minutes. Astonishingly, that was only the fourth-worst value mark among Celtics to play at least 18 minutes.
