Hornets' Kemba Walker undergoes minor knee surgery

Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

What It Means:

This is pretty minor surgery, with a typical recovery time of about six weeks, but it's also the third time Walker has had surgery on the same knee in the last three years, leaving some room for concern.

Walker finished the year with career-highs in points (23.2), threes (3.0) and shooting percentage (44.3), while also averaging 5.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. His 5.6 nERD led all Hornets players and ranked 36th in the NBA.
