Gordon Hayward's strong showing not enough, Jazz eliminated
Utah Jazz small forward Gordon Hayward racked up 25 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in 39 minutes of action on Monday, but it wasn't enough as the Jazz got blown out 121-95 by the Golden State Warriors.
That marks the end of Utah's playoff run, getting swept in four games by the Warriors after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers in seven games in the first round. Hayward averaged 24.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in the postseason.
Hayward finished the season averaging a career-high 21.9 points to go with 5.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He ranked second among Jazz players and 15th in the NBA with a 12.0 nERD.
