Gerald Green enters Celtics' first unit Thursday
Boston Celtics guard/forward Gerald Green is starting over forward/center Amir Johnson against the Washington Wizards on Thursday in Game 3.
Green didn't play at all in Game 2 and he saw only seven minutes in Game 1. Johnson could fall out of the rotation entirely while the likes of Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown may not see as much playing time.
Green has started five games this postseason, came off the bench for one, and wound up with a DNP-CD in the other two. He's averaging 7.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 3-pointers in 16.0 minutes per game.
