Amir Johnson

Amir Johnson could start for Boston in Game 2

Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens hinted that he will start forward Amir Johnson over Gerald Green for Tuesday's Game 2 versus the Washington Wizards if Markieff Morris (ankle) is able to play.

What It Means:

If the Wiz go with a bigger lineup, Johnson is expected to start over Green, who played just seven minutes and accumulated no stats in Sunday's Game 1 win. The Celtics most common starting lineup all year was Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder, Al Horford, and Johnson. They played 423 minutes together this season with a positive 6.2 points plus/minus average.

Johnson averaged 6.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 77 regular season starts this season.
