Bulls rule out Rajon Rondo (thumb) on Wednesday
Chicago Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo (thumb) will no suit up against the Boston Celtics for Game 5 on Wednesday.
It was surprising that there were reports that he might play today after being ruled out yesterday, but it is now confirmed that Rondo will spend at least one more day on the sidelines. Isaiah Canaan is going to draw the start at point guard as the Bulls head into Boston with the series tied at 2-2.
numberFire's models give the Bulls only a 36.6 percent chance of advancing to Round 2, with our most likely projected outcome being Boston winning in seven games (33.7 percent).
