Jusuf Nurkic says leg will be 100 percent well before start of next season
Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic said he expects his leg to be fully healed in 2-3 months.
Nurkic should be well healed by the start of the 2017-18 campaign. Next season will be his first as a full-time starter and the Bosnian big man said he'll be working on his 3-point game this summer. The 22-year-old Bosnian big man is poised to make a huge leap in his third year in the NBA.
Nurkic averaged 15.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.9 blocks in 20 games with the Trail Blazers. His 25.7 percent usage rate was second on the team behind Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum.
