Rajon Rondo remains out, Isaiah Canaan will start for Bulls in Game 5
Chicago Bulls point guard Isaiah Canaan will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Boston Celtics.
With Rajon Rondo being ruled out and Jerian Grant ineffective, head coach Fred Hoiberg has decided to roll with Canaan. The 25-year-old point guard was capable in Game 4 on Sunday, despite the Bulls falling to the Celtics. He was clearly Chicago's best option at the point as he provided solid defense on Isaiah Thomas and spread the floor as he knocked down three three-pointers. Canaan will make a great punt option in DFS on Wednesday.
In his first postseason appearance on Sunday, Canaan posted 13 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 3 three-pointers in 34 minutes of action.
