Clippers' Blake Griffin (toe) to miss rest of playoffs
Los Angeles Clippers' forward/center Blake Griffin will miss the remainder of the 2017 playoffs with an injury to the plantar plate of his right big toe.
Griffin injured the toe late in the first half on Friday, so Marreese Speights started the second half in his place. Mo should continue to see an uptick in minutes going forward, but if Austin Rivers (hamstring) is healthy enough to return, Speights may still come off the bench.
Our models projected Griffin for 20.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists on 34.2 minutes before this news. Speights and Rivers may have to split part of this workload, but point guard Chris Paul and center DeAndre Jordan will shoulder most of the offensive load.
