Russell Westbrook triple-doubles in Thunder win
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook scored 32 points during a 115-113 win over the Houston Rockets in Game 3 on Friday, adding 13 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and five turnovers in 39 minutes.
Brodie did make just 3-of-6 from the line in the fourth to give the Rockets several chances late in this game. In his post-game interview, Westbrook was upset about missing those, but he still becomes the first player since Jason Kidd in 2002 to have a triple-double in back-to-back games in a series. In the regular season, Westbrook played 34.6 minutes per game with an NBA-record 40.8 usage rate, but in his three playoff games he's somehow done even more, playing 38.0 minutes per outing with a 47.7 usage rate.
Westbrook's stat line always looks better than his analytics, as he earned just 9.53 nERD last night.
