Knicks to start Carmelo Anthony in final game

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony (knee) is available to play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.

What It Means:

The Knicks may want to lose this game for lottery position, but it sounds like they'll have Melo out there. That said, there's a good chance his minutes are reduced in the home finale and maybe he just plays in the first half.

Anthony finishes the season averaging 22.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 34.5 minutes per game. His .488 effective field goal percentage is his best since the 2013-2014 season, though he ranks only 281st in the NBA with a -0.8 nERD.
