Nuggets rule out Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried and Jameer Nelson for their final two games
Denver Nuggets forwards Danilo Gallinari (rest), Kenneth Faried (back) and guard Jameer Nelson (calf) have been ruled out for both games of the Nuggets' back-to-back set to close out the regular season on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Nuggets are out of playoff contention and have no need to run their veterans out in these games. Look for younger players like Jamal Murray and Juancho Hernangomez to see some extended run in these games.
Gallinari turned in a strong season, averaging 18.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 3-pointers in 33.9 minutes per game. He finished second among Nuggets players with a 6.0 nERD.
